I'm Angelita. I am a Phoenix-bred personal brand and portrait photographer. I’m a sucker for a great iced latte and dad jokes. You can find me at home hanging out with my family or traveling when I am not shooting.
Prior to photography, I was a graphic designer for start-up companies. I discovered my interest in photography when I helped a non-profit organization with its branding materials. The company did not have quality photos that aligned with its brand and this is where my journey begins...
Where I started
Quality photos need a quality camera and lens! When I started researching a decent camera to invest in, I discovered that my dad already owned the model I was looking to purchase - game-changer! I started unofficially taking photos for the organization to increase its brand awareness. Despite not knowing what I was doing then, photography came naturally. Soon, people began asking me to take their family portraits and wedding photos.
